Moms of Private Company Employees Launched GharWapsi
Tears in their eyes and posters on the hand, mothers of private company employees have launched a campaign with the same name as one of the heated topics these days – #GharWapsi, to make companies make their kids to come home atleast 2 to 3 times a year.
And wait, if you think it is one among those “decent” protests, you are thinking in a wrong direction. This campaign is more communal than you ever imagined! Even more than the one linked with Yogi Adityanath.
When Afwaah.com reps went to meet the Matas who have taken the “chandi roop” to make things work, we were shocked to see moms from all religions Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Parsi, Jain et al. And we being one of those paid media organization have tagged this frenzied crowd as communal.
This has turned out to be a massive movement and many of the Mother-Of-Indians have even traveled all the way to metro cities and gathered in front of the major companies’ head offices to protest. But Afwaah.com has a bad habit of getting the news on the other end as well.
When we asked the HR personnel of many of these companies we found a not-so-surprising (considering they are HR) common reply from all of them- “Ignore these moms. Maa ka toh dil he kuch aisa hota hai.” 😛
