Asaram Bapu supporters to launch political party ABP

Inspired with the success of AAP in Delhi, supporters of self styled Godman Asaram Bapu have decided to launch a political party. When contacted by Afwaah.com, the party spokesperson confirmed the news.

The party will be called ABP (Asaram Bapu Party) which interestingly shares the abbreviation with a news channel. Insiders say this name was chosen to gain more free publicity though Asaram and his son are already getting more than required publicity in the news channel.

With ashrams/properties in hundreds of places across the country and funds to the tune of billions of dollars, the party claims that they are self sufficient and do not need to ask for funding from any one. They will  focus primarily on education, governance, health and safety related issues.
