Top Indian Journalists will be working for Re.1 salary to counter their “Paid Media” image.
If you are a journalist, you are at the luxury to make remarks on politicians, artists, economists, govt officials, common man, teachers, students, priests and any other person you wish.
Your comments are taken with respect and they become tags with witch (arrgh!! which) the victims used to live rest of their life ЁЯЩБ . But with the rise of Internet and off course the “Internet Hindus” (a name given by some one in media to Narendra Modi & Hindutva fans :P) , the journos are finding themselves on receiving end!!
With the politics seeing one of its most “active” time where news and information are shared and read and discussed in an unprecedented manner, the top journos of the media and media in general are tagged “Paid Media”.
Any interview or comment they make brings them into the soup. If they are harsh on a leader, one section of viewers say that “paid agents” maligning their image. On the contrary when these journos are soft on the same leader, the other section says that “paid agents” are just soft and making the culprit escape the tough questions he should be asked.
Keeping this in mind, fat cats of media houses have decided to work on Re.1 pay package (A click on an ad on afwaah.com has a potential to give much more return ЁЯШЫ ). The salaries of Arnab Goswami, Burkha Dutt, Karan Thappar, Rahul Kanwal, Rajdeep Sardesai, Sagarika Ghose, Pankaj Pachauri and many others have joined the bandwagon of being Re. 1 journalists.
In an exclusive TV debate to Afwaah.com (which will be broadcasted as soon as we launch our 24 hrs channel) , Arnab Goswami, Burkha Dutt, Rahul Kanwal and Rajdeep Sardesai agreed on the fact that they don’t have a combined wealth of Rs 500 Crore (The amount believed to give Rahul Gandhi an image Makeover. Too less ain’t it ЁЯШЫ ) to have an image makeover for themselves and have decided to work on this pay.
